DEAR CHRISTIAN: True, you will end up in heaven but have you considered that, when all is said and done (and the book is called up), your life on earth could easily be summed up in one word – WASTED? You can have a saved soul but end up with a wasted life. Selah. Think about it.

True that, as we walk with the Lord, may we be present and make every day count.

Hehehe people tend to believe I got Christ in my heart I am not a sinner anymore… done and dusted…. heaven here come. Hehehehe
What waste to receive such a gift and hide it inside you, and bury it in you. What a waste.
With the suffering going on around the world and you bury, hide such a gift? Wasted!

Patricia, you bring to recollection Jesus’ parable (in Matthew 25) of the slothful servant who literally buried his talent and ended up being cast into the outer darkness. And to think this harsh judgement was meted out to a man who didn’t lose anything! Many lessons to take to heart in this one story..

I do think about this, was my life worthwhile, did I just get by, safe but meaningless?

Daria, the tragedy of our collective human existence; we wake up to our hamster wheels, and live unexamined lives – day in, day out..
