She was finishing up Hope Babigumira\u2019s book. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/patienceNkwizera?fref=mentions\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Patience Kwizera<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> gave it to her a while back. Once she was done, the curious and protective dad I am, I made it my Sunday reading. (I got onto instagram for the sole reason of \u201cchecking up\u201d on my daughter. Too much? Yeah.) \u201cNo Makeup On,\u201d is a tell-all candid fireside chat. It is a call to hope and rediscovery for every girl whose identity has been snatched away from her; a reminder that we all have extraordinary in our DNA. Reading the book as a father, I have been reminded that even on the quietest of days like today (sitting down with my daughter as I type this), am modeling Father God and what her significant relationships will be.
