This strange luscious fruit (from the tree in our garden) has been lying on the dresser for days. (Ok. Since yesterday). And this morning it followed me downstairs. I am having a quiet coffee moment now, and it’s staring at me – invitingly.
She laughs, but I’ve told Mona I’m too sharp to touch it, let alone take a bite of it. Unlike that gullible chap in the book of beginnings, I’m too woke to fall for a scheme similar to the one that had our two original ancestors banished from paradise. And has since occasioned all the suffering that has been visited upon us humans![]()

Julie, if Adam had been as stoic and vigilant as I am, we’d all still be in paradise😅

Hmmm, pause for a moment and imagine how delicious, crunchy and just the right amount of sugar and acid a bite of that fruit would be. Better yet, chilled, on a sunny afternoon reading an engaging book, hmmm.
