How often we live life like we are on trial. Seeking approval. Yearning for fame. Craving wealth. Sadly for us, in the courtroom of life, we are never enough. We’ll always fall short. Accolades are soon forgotten. Medals fade on the hands of time. The inner murmur of self reproach is hard to silence. But the cross changes everything. Because He had the Father’s approval, Jesus Christ gives us the cosmic seal of approval. And now God delights in us as much as he delights in Jesus. It is finished. We can rest in the finished work of Jesus.

My brother, very deep and appreciated. But why are you dressed like an Eskimo in the tropics?
June 10, 2018 at 5:06 pm
With all your learning, Sam Nyamboga, you clearly do not know a second thing about sub-zero zones in the tropics. Next am going up a mountain, I now have a kindred obligation to drag you along (literally) – screaming, pulling, scratching and all;-)

Respond to the substance of the question, your spin expertise can not disentangle you from this infamy

Sam my brother Jacob is a prime example of enigmatic confusion! Let us just leave him be! Winter clothes in the tropics, climbing mountains to dodge creditors etc! It is pointless to even try to understand! ?
June 10, 2018 at 5:07 pm
He takes the phrase running for the hills to another level, this brother of ours!
June 10, 2018 at 5:08 pm
I worry for you brothers. In your relentless quixotic quest (a rabbit hunt, really) to shoot down the messenger, you miss the message. I pray you don’t miss heaven altogether?
June 10, 2018 at 5:10 pm
Jacob all of Heaven is probably wondering along with us! Your mansion is likely to be situated a good distance away from everyone else for that matter! ?

June 10, 2018 at 5:14 pm
Eh Julie, for the life of me, I didn’t know the Apostle Paul was left-handed???♂️
June 10, 2018 at 5:15 pm

Very profound
Life without God is like living life on a treadmill. The writer of Ecclesiastes summed it up well….as vanity.

Well said. Joseph and King David are characters most men and business people would associate with. Every time they fell, they stood up. As a business person am sure you have lost money. But you do not spend your entire life wallowing or lamenting the money lost. Like Joseph in the pit, you look out of the pit and see light at the top. In the process you end up earning more money than you lost. Amen.
