Running the heights of the Land of 1000 hills this morning, I prayed over the city. For all that might not be right, Kigali is a reminder that nations, just as individuals, are never beyond hope. And that if we take responsibility for where we are at and don’t dwell on the past, we make room for the future.

Wow! Deep stuff. At the end of the day it is results which speak. They say the end justifies the means. As a foreigner living and working in Kigali a couple of years back, my house underwent indoor residual spraying against malaria….in my absence. I was at work and my landlord did the needful! This is prioritization. If people are down with malaria, it affects output, it affects taxes, it affects GDP. A Government determined to get things done and the height of their output is not determined by their pay cheque alone but degree of patriotism. Public service is public service and Rwanda has the right definition of public service. If you want to drive the latest fuel guzzler go tussle it out in the private sector, nobody will hang one for that. Once the public service is tick, the private sector soars the hills. Good Sunday.

Bucket list… if only the flesh was at par with the spirit. The view must be stunning from where you stand.
July 16, 2018 at 11:15 pm
It sure is, Richard! A little beating of the body will get the flesh in step with the spirit. Ask Paul – 1 Corinthians 9:27; I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should…”

Baby steps I will begin with…
